Vermicrop's compost is inoculated with Vermi T to increase the decomposition and fertility of the compost. It is also screened to remove the majority of the woody and non-decomposed materials, leaving only the richest, healthiest organic matter.
This compost, blended with Vermicrop's earthworm castings, is the key to breaking down the hydrophobic layer and to the feeding of the earthworm castings. Both the earthworm castings and compost increase water retention in sandy soil and improve drainage in clay soils. The fossilized kelp is full of vitamins, micronutrients, and minerals, and most importantly, it has a large amount of available calcium. The endo/ectomycorrhizae attach to the roots of plants and the fine filaments.
